All Surface Design is proud to offer Plyboo architectural plywood made from 100% rapidly renewable bamboo and carries a 5 year warranty against manufacturing defects. This unique product can be simply cut and sanded using conventional woodworking equipment and offers excellent dimensional stability. Plyboo can also be glued or mechanically fastened using the same materials and fasteners commonly used with wood. Plyboo is available in both an amber and natural light tone, Plyboo bamboo plywood is sanded with 180-grit and is a low-resin, open-grained material that takes stains and finishes exceptionally well. FSC Certified Bamboo as well as no added formaldehyde panels is now available.

Plyboo is available in two colors shades, Amber and Natural.  The amber color is derived from a heat treatment process that gives it a darker tone.  The lighter color is the natural color of the bamboo, but goes through a bleaching process to achieve a more consistent tone.

FLAT GRAIN (Horizontal grain):  When looking at the face you will see strips of bamboo approximately 1” wide running the length of the surface.

EDGE GRAIN (Vertical grain):  When looking at the face, you will see strips of bamboo approximately 1/4" wide running the length of the surface.

END GRAIN:  When looking at the face, you will see small rectangles of bamboo approximately 1/2" or 3/4" wide by 1/4" tall. 

Plyboo strand board is a process whereby the fibers of the bamboo are shredded and then compressed into plywood. This creates a product that is denser and heavier than the standard Plyboo bamboo plywood.
